Nope! Babysitters do not need to be on the app in order for a parent to book you. You will continue to receive text messages and can reply accordingly.
However, the app is free for babysitters! And it allows you to manage all aspects of your babysitting business including:
- Manage your bookings
- Accept or decline with a tap
- Cancel a booking
- See all of your pending, confirmed, and past bookings easily
- Get paid by credit card
- Parents can pay you by credit card so you don’t have to deal with taking a check to the bank
- Funds are securely deposited in your bank account within 1-2 business days
- Get more jobs
- You’ll be able to add your rates, photo, and introduction so friends of your clients can see your information and add you to their list
- View family profile information
- Contact them directly and easily via phone, email, or text (if contacting new families, you’ll need a membership plan.)
- View the number of kids they have
- View their city and state
- See all of the connections you share
- Add your own clients
- Have other clients that don’t currently use Sitter? Add them to your client list and be able to manage all of your jobs and clients in one place.
To join as a babysitter, simply download the app and register as a sitter.
